ATERONON™ is a ‘one-a-day’ natural supplement that is clinically proven to help inhibit the oxidation of LDL cholesterol (‘bad’ cholesterol).

The active ingredient of ATERONON™ is lycopene, one of the most potent natural antioxidants found in the health-promoting Mediterranean diet. Lycopene is an antioxidant naturally extracted from tomatoes and some other red fruit, but in its raw form, the large crystals of lycopene make it difficult for the human body to absorb. Like many foods, it is not only the theory of whether a particular ingredient is potentially good for us, but most importantly, whether our body can use the ingredient in the right way for us to derive the true benefit.
After 7 years of research and clinical trials, Cambridge Theranostics (a bio-technology spin-out of Cambridge University, originally funded by The British Heart Foundation) have now identified a way to break down the large lycopene crystals so that the body can now easily absorb and benefit from this proven antioxidant.
